Thredbo Jazz Festival 2008
21 years of Jazz in Australia’s Snowy Mountains!
Thredbo Village in the Kosciusko National Park in NSW was crowded, the weather was crisp with receent snow on the peaks. The artists were in fantastic form and so were the village venues where fine food complemented great jazz.
The festival came of age in 2008 celebrating its 21st year with another line-up of artists desrving “best ever”ranking.
Thredbo’s aim is to be the best boutique festival in the country. The emphasis is on quality with sounds that swing and a platform which launches three days of jazz by combos, big bands, vocalists - and swing dances.
Tourism Thredbo and its Jazz Festival Music Directors thank the Village Hosts, Volunteers, Festival Sponsors and all our great guests who made the Thredbo Jazz Festival 2008 such a success.
