Yes

Are bookings at Restaurants required?

Yes, it is paramount that people book when dining at the restaurant to avoid disappointment. If your chosen restaurant venue is booked out, please remember that each band plays at least 2 more times at different venues over the course of the festival.

Can I book a restaurant meal without buying a pass?

Restaurants that have performances during meal times are participating as Festival Hosts and it is advisable that all patrons hold a festival pass for these gigs. Thredbo offers dining/music experiences at these restaurants around gig times and there are other restaurants in the village who offer meals without bands. However, if you plan on going out after dinner then the day pass is good value. Otherwis, please refer to the restaurants directly with your query

Can I see a band at a restaurant venue and not eat dinner?

Bands perform between 3 - 4 gigs during the festival and the restaurant gigs are reserved for those intimate performance experiences. Some restaurants allow entry if seating room is available after normal meal times. Please contact the restaurant in advance or talk to the festival host at the restaurant entry, because requirements may vary between dining venues.

Last minute program updates will be available on-line and from the Ticket Booth from NOON Friday 8 May 2009.

Program and update enquiries during the Festival should be made directly at the Festival Information and Ticket Booth. Changes may occur due to weather or other unpredicted factors.
