Guests enjoyed some of Australia's finest Jazz musicians, and a return to the era of SWING DANCE including special overseas guests, at the 2008 Yalumba 21st Jazz Festival while experiencing Thredbo’s breathtaking mountain scenery.
More than 20 bands were on the program to play regularly over the weekend at different times offering guests the opportunity to see them in various bars and restaurants. Some bands rove around the village square, others play at Eagles Nest Restaurant at the top of the mountain and some play at the outside pool at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel. On arrival in Thredbo, guests are encouraged to collect a final program from the festival ticket office.
